After Two Years of Waiting
After two long years of waiting, I finally have news: my husband’s visa is moving along. I pray that we are at the approval stage, at the very end of this long, exhausting process. And yet, I can’t help but feel nervous — I don’t know what to expect in the upcoming weeks as we gather updated documents to send to the embassy.
At the same time, I’m trying to stay focused on my life. College, my blog, my book marketing, building a business plan for a healthcare agency — I’m juggling all of this while trying to find my purpose and chase my dreams. I want to be successful, gain followers, and help people through their own healing journeys, even while I’m still navigating mine.
The thought of how to juggle all of these responsibilities while waiting for approval is nerve-wracking. I often feel like I’m walking a tightrope — one wrong step and everything could tumble.

The Emotional Rollercoaster
Through this whole process, I’ve become a ball of emotions I never thought I would experience. From loneliness to sexual frustration, to mood swings and anxiety — I’ve felt it all. Smiling through it has been horrific at times, especially since I haven’t seen my husband in four years. The distance, the uncertainty, the waiting — it has had a profound impact on my wellbeing and my life.
Amid all of this, I’ve been trying to heal, find myself, and discover my purpose. It’s been a challenge in itself, balancing the weight of longing and anticipation with the desire to grow and create.

Finding Strength and Purpose
Even in the chaos, I hold on to hope. I try to focus on what I can control: my studies, my writing, my creativity, and the small steps toward my dreams. Each blog post, every chapter of my book, every strategy in my business plan feels like a way to reclaim my power in a time of uncertainty.
I share this because I know I’m not alone. So many of us are waiting, hoping, and trying to build a life while navigating uncertainty. Life doesn’t pause for us — and neither do our dreams.
