One of the greatest lessons trauma taught me is that healing isn’t just about me—it’s about the generations that come after me.
As a mother, my mission is bigger than raising children.
I’m raising future adults who know their worth.
To My Daughters 💙
I want my daughters to know that love should never hurt.
No man or woman should ever put their hands on you, tear down your confidence, or make you feel like you’re not enough.
Know your value.
Know your self-worth.
Walk in confidence.
Stand tall with your head held high.
Never settle because you’re afraid to be alone.
Own every room you walk into—not because you’re better than anyone else, but because you know exactly who you are.
Never lose yourself trying to keep someone else.
To My Son 💙
I want my son to understand that true strength isn’t found in anger or control.
It’s found in respect.
Never raise your voice to intimidate.
Never use your hands to hurt.
Be a safe place.
Make the people in your life feel valued, protected, heard, and respected.
But also remember this…
You deserve the same in return.
Know your own value.
Know what you bring to every friendship and every relationship.
Never accept disrespect simply because you’re a man.
My Greatest Hope
I want all of my children to know themselves.
To know what they like.
What they don’t like.
What they believe.
What they deserve.
Because when you truly know who you are, it’s much harder for someone else to convince you that you’re anything less.
Raising kings and queens isn’t easy—especially when you’re breaking cycles and healing from trauma yourself.
But every hard conversation…
Every lesson…
Every example…
Is another step toward changing our family’s future.
🦋 The cycles can end with us.
